Highways – CHURCH LANE BRIDGE CLOSURE

As you will have seen, access via the bridge on Church Lane has been restricted. While this is pending further investigation and agreement on how to strengthen the structure, the initial expectation is that the bridge will remain closed to vehicles for the foreseeable future (likely until mid-2026). This is for several reasons which can be discussed at the next Parish Council meeting on 24 February at 7.30pm. The lead person from Highways dealing with this will be invited to attend this meeting.
